Mountain Hemlock Forest

Higher elevation forests near the crest of the Cascade Mountains are often dominated by mountain hemlock (Tsuga mertensiana).

    Hah. This one reminds me of the movie I saw last night with my kids "How to Tame Your Dragon" ... beautiful though : )
