Awaiting Renewal

This particular forest had been singed by a recent fire. Hardly any plants have recolonized the area.

    Wow! I love this one ... but I am partial to the black and whites. Black is appropriate though. This is hauntingly beautiful ... yet hopeful in an odd way, no? You need to get a Facebook account and then join the 'Head in the Clouds' group. Lots of amazing photographers there. They've given me tons of useful tips and insights. Another helpful group is 'Lightstalking' and 'Scandisk Extreme'.
