Withrow Moraine Shrub Steppe

Idaho fescue (Festuca idahoensis) is the dominant grass in the northern portion (and on north slopes in other parts) of the Columbia Basin. Also here is Wyoming sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis).
